What Serany thinks about this poem

Meaning

A case made to somebody who does not believe it: you have a terrible day and still sing in the car, you tell the waiter it was delicious when it was not, you feel personally responsible for the man on the street you walked past. It says this is what people will say when it is all said and done, and asks why they stopped believing it about themselves.

Who's it for

Someone who never believed they were any good, read out as the verdict. Right for a family who want to tell them, too late, what everybody else could see.

Are you planning a funeral?

A Serany website keeps the whole funeral in one place: the plans and the details, who is coming, flowers and donations, and somewhere for everyone who knew them to leave a memory.
