What Serany thinks about this poem

Meaning

Whether you got twenty years or a hundred, he says, it was a beautiful thing to have briefly existed, and the job was never the house or the work. Death is the reward at the end of a life lived properly, and the one thing that makes any of it count.

Who's it for

A family who want comfort without religion. Right after a long life, or a long illness that was fought hard.

A Serany website keeps the whole funeral in one place: the plans and the details, who is coming, flowers and donations, and somewhere for everyone who knew them to leave a memory.
