What Serany thinks about this poem

Meaning

The person who died lets their family off the anniversaries. You do not need the right date to miss me, they say, so buy flowers on a Thursday and think of me then.

Who's it for

A family dreading the first birthday and the first anniversary. It hands back the obligation before anybody has to feel guilty about it.

Are you planning a funeral?

A Serany website keeps the whole funeral in one place: the plans and the details, who is coming, flowers and donations, and somewhere for everyone who knew them to leave a memory.
