What Serany thinks about this poem

Meaning

Death is dragged into court and everyone who has lost somebody gets to accuse him: a mother, a doctor, a priest, a soldier, a child whose mum is dead. Then Death answers, and says he is only the hands of the clock, and that without a last breath the first one would mean nothing.

Who's it for

A family who are angry rather than sad, and a room that can take plain speech. Right where a child has lost a parent and wants somebody blamed.

Are you planning a funeral?

A Serany website keeps the whole funeral in one place: the plans and the details, who is coming, flowers and donations, and somewhere for everyone who knew them to leave a memory.
