What Serany thinks about this poem

Meaning

Grief rings, he lets it go, then rings it back, because love hates being missed. He works out that grief only stops when the love stops, so he keeps his phone on. It ends by telling the person who died that their life was the message they left.

Who's it for

A mourner who wants to say they are still in it rather than over it. Right for a short reading where somebody's life is the thing being thanked.

Are you planning a funeral?

A Serany website keeps the whole funeral in one place: the plans and the details, who is coming, flowers and donations, and somewhere for everyone who knew them to leave a memory.
