What Serany thinks about this poem

Meaning

Someone tells a grieving mother that her anger is hers and she is allowed it. No angels, no clouds, no being told it was meant to be. Then it turns, very quietly, and says her love for the child is still a gift and still has somewhere to go.

Who's it for

A mother at her baby's or small child's funeral. Right for a family who are furious and do not want consoling yet.

Are you planning a funeral?

A Serany website keeps the whole funeral in one place: the plans and the details, who is coming, flowers and donations, and somewhere for everyone who knew them to leave a memory.
