What Serany thinks about this poem

Meaning

Two people were one star that split, lived separate lives, then collided. Knowing him was how she came to know herself, and the stardust would not stay apart.

Who's it for

A husband or wife who would rather tell the room how they met than talk about the ending. There is no grief anywhere in it, which is the point.

Becky Hemsley

If—

This poem is for someone who got on with things, kept their temper, and didn’t make a fuss when life went against them. The sort of person other people steadied themselves against.

Are you planning a funeral?

A Serany website keeps the whole funeral in one place: the plans and the details, who is coming, flowers and donations, and somewhere for everyone who knew them to leave a memory.
