What Serany thinks about Hollie McNish
Who they are
Hollie McNish is a poet who lives between Cambridge and Glasgow. She won the Ted Hughes Award for Nobody Told Me, and she's written five more collections since Papers came out in 2012.
Why we'd read them at a funeral
She writes about the parts of grief nobody puts in a sympathy card: the sandwich platters, the wrong jumper, who gets flowers and who doesn't. If a family want something that sounds like a real person rather than a reading, start with her.

Where to find Hollie McNish
Are you planning a funeral?
A Serany website keeps the whole funeral in one place: the plans and the details, who is coming, flowers and donations, and somewhere for everyone who knew them to leave a memory.
